Do I need an Electrical COC to sell a property in Steenberg Estate?
Yes. An Electrical Certificate of Compliance is required whenever a property in South Africa changes ownership, and in Cape Town a Plumbing (Water) COC is also required on transfer. Yes. The wiring, isolators, protection and earthing that supply these fixed appliances are all part of the Electrical COC inspection.
