Newer Homes Still Need A Proper Inspection
Much of the housing in Pelikan Park and Pelican Heights is relatively new, and many owners assume a newer home will automatically pass. Often it does, but a COC must reflect the installation as it is today, not as it was when the house was built. Since moving in, many owners have added extra plugs, outside lights, a stove or geyser upgrade, a gate motor, security lighting or a room at the back, and that work needs to be certified. Do I need an Electrical COC to sell a property in Pelikan Park or Pelican Heights?
