I’m buying a first home in Goodwood — will I need a COC?
Yes. An Electrical Certificate of Compliance is a legal requirement for every property transfer in South Africa, and it’s a good idea to have Plumbing, Gas and Electric Fence COCs checked too where those installations are present. We can issue all of these ahead of your transfer.
I rent out a flatlet in Goodwood — how often should I renew the COC?
